PHI Wall

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 26, 2026.

Service purpose

PHI Wall is a preventive prompt-screening and workflow service. It is not a medical device, clinical decision tool, legal service, or guarantee that protected health information will always be detected.

Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for your users, access controls, HIPAA program, workforce training, legal basis for processing data, vendor agreements, and the configuration and charges of any optional customer-connected AI provider. You may use PHI Wall only for lawful business or personal purposes and may not attempt to bypass its safeguards.

Connected AI providers

PHI Wall Standard uses a provider account managed by PHI Wall, with AI usage included with the account. PHI Wall must complete the applicable provider agreement and eligible service configuration before enabling Standard for healthcare workflows. Account owners may optionally connect their own supported provider account; they control its credentials, agreements, covered services and usage charges. A provider agreement does not replace any required agreement between PHI Wall and the customer.

Subscriptions

New paid accounts receive the trial shown at checkout. After the trial, subscriptions renew until canceled under the checkout terms. Business billing is based on paid seats. Taxes may be additional. Concurrency, input/output limits and PHI screening remain in place. Usage is metered without automatic daily, monthly or service-budget access cutoffs. The System Administrator may enable or disable Standard for accounts or individual users. Locally blocked prompts do not call the model. No automatic AI overage charge is applied by this release. Charges from an optional customer-connected provider are separate.

Availability and limitations

The service is provided subject to the applicable order and law. Detection may produce false positives or false negatives. Customers must maintain appropriate human review, security controls, backups, and incident procedures. Any warranty disclaimer, liability cap, indemnity, governing law, data-processing terms, and business associate terms require a separately approved customer agreement.
